何処僧敲月下関
霞衫来自霱雲間
聯床詩話惟今夜
明日迢々隔海山
関棙上人に和す
何処の僧が敲く月下の関
霞衫きたっておのずから霱雲の間
床をつらねての詩話はこれ今夜のみ
明日は迢々として海山を隔てん
関棙上人に和す
どこの僧侶であろうか、月に照らされた関所の門を叩くのは。霞のような薄物の衣を纏った僧侶が尋ねて来たのは、おのずからめでたい雲間から現れたごとくであり、席を並べて詩話に興ずるのは、まさに今夜のみである。明日になれば遠く遥かに海山隔たってしまうからである。
What Buddhist priests are these, knocking at the gate of a checkpoint lit by moonlight? The priests, dressed in robes light like mist, appear naturally as if from the heavenly clouds, and it was only tonight that we could line up our chairs and amuse ourselves with talk of poetry. Tomorrow we will be separated by a vast distance across the seas and mountains.
관려상인에게 화답하여
어느 곳의 승려가 달빛 아래 문을 두드리나?
노을 같은 장삼은 상서로운 구름 사이에서 왔지.
책상 놓고 시 이야기에 오늘 저녁뿐
내일이면 아스라이 산과 바다 격하겠지.
