梅香透仏骨
寺影落鯨波
法界三千闢
仙槎十二（十一）過
瀑声穿竹遠
竜気入簾多
怊悵沙門外
停驂奈雨何
清見寺に南壺谷の韻に次す
梅香は仏骨を透し
寺影は鯨波に落つ
法界三千闢
仙槎十二（十一）たび過ぐ
瀑声は竹を穿ちて遠く
竜気は簾に入りて多し
怊悵は沙門の外
驂を停める雨をいかんせん
清見寺に南壺谷の韻に次す
梅の香りは寺院にすがすがしく、堂宇の影は大波の上に落ちている。仏の広大な世界は開かれ、使節の通過は十二回（実は十一回）もあった。瀧音の響きは竹林を越えて遠くにいたり、めでたい大気は部屋の中に入り込んで溢れている。くよくよとして思い切れない気持などは、悟りの境地からはずれているものながら、使節の車を停めているこの雨を一体どうしたらよかろうか。
The scent of ume is fresh in the temple, and the shadow of the temple falls over the great waves. The wide world of the Buddha is opened, and we marked the 12th [actually 11th] passing-through of the mission. The sound of the waterfall crosses far over the bamboo grove, and an atmosphere of purity fills the rooms. These feelings of frustration I cannot relinquish are a far cry from the state of realization; whatsoever shall we do about the rain in which the mission’s carriages are stopped?
청견사에서 남호곡의 운을 따라
매화 향기 불골에 스미고
절 그림자 큰 바다에 지는데
법계 삼천 세계 열어서
사신의 배가 열둘 지났네.
폭포 소리 대숲을 멀리 뚫고
용의 기운 발에 많이 들어온다.
사문밖에 안타까워 하여
행차 멈추는 비를 어찌하리
